The minigun is perfect.  I'll buy that the other two could use a little tweaking.

I'll disagree. Lots of blue and brown specks, artifacts. The arm and stuff looks blurry, etc.

The blurriness of the arm is fine, and it has a few freckles, which is also fine.  I do see a few questionable blue specs on the metal, now that you mention it, but that's the only problem I'm seeing.

Geez, if Will had a nickel every time someone said something about the AWESOME purple sky. Sheesh.

I still hate that shotgun. Rest of the weapons are looking sweet though.

Fuck, the game play in those shots looks intense.

Oh, and the purple sky from the previous shots looks awesome.  Wink

I watched the video.

I was actually very worried when you chose to mix of all those elements from various old FPS games, but I have to admit upon seeing this that it's very well done. It also ends up making this mod look like it's a brand new game on its own (ironically!), in the good old style except released nowadays. And seeing how I adore old FPS games I can't wait to play this.

Maybe it's just the video, the show of weapons and monsters, as well as the fast cut, but it seems that WGR2 is gonna be a lot more action based than WGR1. As if everything was like in "Open Season" and "Temple Cress". Hopefully it won't lack on moody or creepy parts and will have its "Awakening", "Medieval Times" and "Crystal Mines" as well.

Thanks for the feedback.
It will have its moody parts that's for sure... But there is no high tech stuff, so that's what will be missing from WGR1.
It really is a new game though and totally separate from WGR1, but still goes along the "Random places" concept.

I watched the latest video some days ago, it´s getting awesome, and as i said to DT, if this were made like a standalone game in -say- 1997 it could be one of the best games. I shake your hand about using 8bits stuff.  Smiley

Looks very promising, William.  Thumbs up

I hope WGR1 levels will be available too with these new monsters and weapons.

I don't. The mix with the Duke3D elements is what makes WGR1 so great. I think the Masterpiece should remain the way it is.
