The map is not bad, I enjoyed the first part a lot. I don't like that "weird" locations, and I have no idea why you still make them  Undecided
Sanek, please calm down, there's nothing wrong if people criticize your map. You have to listen to them and fix stuff. Polishing is gold.

People here want to help you, don't you see?

No he can't see that because he can't translate English at all from what I can tell.
Maybe you can explain to him in native tongue.

Gosh.I shocked.I do not understand why such a bad attitude to the map. It's primarily not respect to me.Mikko contemptuous of me, and for him my maps mean nothing.
With Forge all understandable.Gambini,of course, satisfied - "yeah, map of this freak is failed,yeah!".Bastard.I was also shocked by Lezing(Craigfatman). You are just a bunch of snickering bastards...

Your problem is you never admit that you make mistakes. You never listen to anyone who tries to help you to improve because you can't admit that you did anything wrong. The end result is: you put out sloppy maps that have plenty of potential, but you never listen to anyone who's trying to help you take that next step to make them better.

Your map is sloppy and full of mistakes that you could have easily fixed, but won't because you think your shit don't stink.

I have nothing personal against you, even though you seem to think so. The only thing that bothers me in any way about you is what I've just mentioned in this post. I really could care less about what you did a few years ago. That was then and this is now. I would like to see you take the time to put out some quality work that I know you're capable of, but you need to get over that mental block that's keeping you from being able to listen to other people's input and actually take the good from it and use it instead of viewing it as a personal insult.

edit: I still won't review your maps though until I get a full, publicly released apology from you stating how wrong you were to say that I had no qualifications to do reviews because I never made a map. You don't think I'm qualified to review, ergo I won't review your work.

edit2: Gambini

I think Forge turned out many good aspects. No, I don´t want to flame you or such, I just want to say that some of these things are true, in good and bad.  Undecided Just asking, how much you put effort into your map, if you did this map in three months? People are different, but some of us do an excellent map that scores well over 90 in just a month of less, like Alejandro Glavic, who did one map in about a week (well that´s impressive). Yes, my map took over three months to finish, but so what? I do maps because I like to do them, not because I want to release tons of map whose quality sucks.
That´s like creating a commercial game very quickly, because company wants to sell games, but nobody won´t buy it, because customers know that it´s quality sucks. I bet that some of us won´t even take a look at your map, because they assume, that your map is bad even though it wouldn´t.  Lips Sealed

My suggestion is this: start creating a new map, create consistent theme (like city, alien ship, desert, beach etc.),
put things you would like to put in, then show some screenshots what you have done and then, we give you advice and you do what we say, just for the test. That way you begin to see, what we mean. And, so that your gumption for creating a new map wouldn´t be so high, we would gladly wish you:

Good luck, Sanek, you can do it!  Thumbs upCheesy Thumbs up

If you listen to me.

I'm listening, but when I'm in a bad mood, I did not listen.

I "blind". I do not see any obvious errors with the shadows and texturing.

OK.I admit that I was wrong.You yourself is a mapper,so...

Just asking, how much you put effort into your map, if you did this map in three months?
All depends on how much I have other things to do or none. I make map every evening for 2 hours, except mondays .In the weekend I'm doing a map as it will.

That´s like creating a commercial game very quickly, because company wants to sell games, but nobody won´t buy it, because customers know that it´s quality sucks. Most likely we'll keep doing soon.

So,Someone wants to be a beta tester for my next map?

Great, beta testing could also be a great solution to improve your skills. I would like to beta test your next map. PM me and I´ll do it.

Examples of messed up texturing and poor shading. Note that walls at 90 degrees of each other have the exact same shade value and this issue is throughout the entire map.

The ceiling door should be a different texture and not one with a handle on it like a swinging door
edit: never mind, posted the wrong pic

originally this was showing where the player comes up out of bounds of the pool and causes a squish bug, but it also is an example of missed textures like the one where the cross hair is aiming which can be found through the map

this invisible barrier (and there's a few in the map) make absolutely no sense
