Hahaha--I got talked out of that one by a beta-tester too. Tongue

Glad you liked it. The first area is definitely corridors and more corridors. I wasn't really sure what to do but I wanted to get from point A to point B (the elevator to the topside building) and so...corridors. Tongue

I love lighting. It's fun. <3

Nice map, i really liked the "bring up" gameplay, specially in the "where were all the monsters? part" (just before getting the red keycard)

Very good design and layout, everything is in it´s right place, but i felt a lack of health in some spots. Also, i  like the lightning  a lot, i love that "double shadow" in the yellow kc boxes.

 Thumbs up

Pretty solid release.

I didn't nitpick about the few misaligned textures in the vents cause they're no big deal. Just thought you'd like to know if you're going to change the map and spice it up. This was an issue too. For some reason I jumped down this corridor (I think I was aiming for the top of the box just for the fun of it) and I had inadvertently by-passed the touchplate that spawned the aliens. You may want to touchplate all the sectors at the end of that corridor.

Uploaded a fixed version with a few other minor tweaks as well. Thanks!

Edit: And thanks for the lovely review, too!

Welcome back, Supertanker.

Map uploaded here at DNR as well.
I've redirected visitors from the front page to this thread and I've also edited your first post slightly.

Also a great thanks to Forge for his great work with writing reviews for all of us  Thumbs up

Thanks! Although, er, I wasn't really gone, my real 'out of retirement' map was FOS Station. I just tend to get real quiet and/or busy when I get involved in stuff. My actual retirement was from 2005 to about Jan 2010.

I enjoyed this map immensely. I did not find the lack of health a worry; I played on Bring It On and passed the map first try, so it wasn't an issue.

Good work.

Just wondering the same... are you playing this map with some kind of mod or something?

I guess your right, but it makes more sense being a mod.
