A short mission-based map taking place on a space station of some sort, in which you are supposed to slaughter aliens taking dumps in their respective bathrooms, blow up reactor cores and all those pleasantries that make the charms of Duke's every day routine. The map is fairly well-designed and while it sort of fails in the detailing and lighting department, it succeeds in terms of layout and still maintains a clean, solid look with some nice architecture feats and basic, yet proper texturing. The level is of the kind that throws aliens at you constantly the whole time pretty much, making for really entertaining firefights, however the ammo / health to monster ration seems way off, with atomic healths and ammo packs everywhere, making all the battles unfairly easy. The gameplay is still fun though, although it is pretty much a disguised key run, if you like to be able to go on an occasional shooting frenzy without having to worry about sparing your ammunition and health points, all in a rather aesthetically-pleasing environment (even though one or two locations may be too crowded with sprites to ease the experience).

================================================================ Title : EDF Computer Base Date Completed : February 23 2011 Filename : HT_EDF_V1.MAP Author : Paul "High Treason" Monteray Email Address : PAU174u[at]aol.com Misc. Author Info : I like taking the "You can't do this in Build." rule and destroying it. Other Levels : Preston Road Description : This is not the strongest map, I feel I am better at outdoor areas, but I had to try. This is a short map, you have to get through the base using the key cards and killing enemies as usual at the end you have to blow up the big computer before leaving. All in all, I am not proud of most of the map, but it was mostly an experiment and the end is good in my opinion. Additional Credits : None... Except thanks to artists of music I listened to whilst working on this map. The Zombies are awesome! ================================================================ * Play Information * Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-8 Player : No (Maybe later?)
